Our moisturizers are specially formulated to optimize Day and Nighttime skin requirements. Levels of ingredients are adjusted and specialty additives are deployed depending on the intended phase of use. The products are further distinguished by whether exfoliation or rejuvenation is the primary focus.
      An adult skin cell has a normal 28-day life cycle forming from the basal deep layer to the more mature outer layers. The main pitfall with the use of moisturizers is many people use them without proper exfoliation. Without timely cell turnover, the outermost layer of the skin forms a dull appearance, a texture promoting fine lines and wrinkles, and can even cause the dreaded clog pores. I created the Ageless Botanical Exfoliating Moisturizing collection to address the need for ongoing exfoliation through natural fruit-derived alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA). Alpha hydroxy and beta hydroxy acids promote natural exfoliation of the skin. Regular use of exfoliating moisturizers can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
      The rejuvenation formulation, Rejuve Botanical Collection, is designed for all skin types that require a medium-heavy moisturization without a built-in exfoliator. Instead, the Rejuve Botanical line is infused with natural humectants (like vegan ultra-low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and organic aloe vera) and vitamins (like Coenzyme q 10, B3, and E) that are antioxidants addressing the appearance of photo-damaged skin. Specialty oils in this product line enrich and penetrate the outmost skin layers to provide optimal barrier protection for transepidermal water loss (TEWL).
